Tom Downie & Lily Goss win VAFA Best & Fairest Awards

Congratulations to our own Tom Downie and Lily Goss who have won their respective competition Best and Fairest awards in 2019. Tom polled 27 Votes to be a clear winner and Lily polled 17 votes to tie for the prestigious award

Tom Downie is the first B&F winner in senior football since fellow ruckman, Andrew Crow won the A section in 2003. The last winner in B section was John Morgan in 1975. Tom is in his first year with the club and has made an outstanding contribution to the club in a very short time, as our leading ruckman and goalkicker. Tom is looking forward to an exciting finals campaign starting this weekend.

Lily Goss has been an excellent contributor in her two years at the club, now both an inaugural Old Scotch woman’s premiership player and best and fairest medal winner within only two years. Lily is the first OSFC women to win such an individual award.
