The 2022 OSFC pre-season camp was held between February 4 and 6 at the same venue as last year – Camp Wyuna, Queenscliff. Blessed with spectacular weather for the entire weekend, enthusiasm is clearly high for the upcoming season as we had over 60 players and coaching, high performance, medical and administration staff attending. And it was particularly encouraging to see many Under 19 players at the camp.

The weekend not only involved some pretty intense training sessions but important presentations and discussions on team defence, ball movement and contested ball. Men’s Senior Head Coach Mark Gnatt’s presentation included the Melbourne Football Club’s film ‘To Hell and Back’, a great insight into their club’s 2020 pre-season. The weekend also provided plenty of social time allowing all the boys to have a bit of fun with their mates.
