2024 BEST AND FAIREST NIGHT OF NIGHTS

Friday October 11 was the culmination of at least 46 years of hard work, as roughly 260 of us celebrated our Premier Grade flag winners in the Men’s and Women’s Seniors in style at the spectacularly presented Hawthorn Town Hall. Highlights of the night included Kate Tassiopoulos and Steph Allen winning our prestigious Best Clubman Trophies (The off-field Bryan Gibbs and on-filed John Anderson respectively), Premiership winning coaches Mark Gnatt and Dean Anderson holding court on stage for a joyous period of flag recognition and we toasted our senior and all other teams trophy winners.

We also gave thanks to our departing 3rds coach Alex van Ryn, to Lachie Fraser-Smith for exhorting us all to give more $ in a wonderful club auction and definitely give thanks to Scotch College principal Dr Scott Marsh for joining us on the night.  And last of all, Kate Tassiopoloulos gives thanks to all night revellers finally departing her home just before dawn at the end of the extended after parties.

A night to remember with possibly the biggest moment of all being the two premiership teams joining together on stage for a group photo.

……… now onto 2025.

Hawthorn Town Hall has never looked so good!
