Hugo is the most deserving winner of this award, with his consistency on game day being his standout trait. Playing as a courageous, ball winning mid fielder at a very high standard, his ability to drive the U19 squad, to share knowledge with his coaches, and his dedication to be the very best footballer he can be has Old Scotch FC in very good hands for years to come. 

Hugo is the ideal club man, a player who is the first to welcome new players to the group, the one who has genuine care for every player in the squad, and the player who, every session, trains with the application and intensity the coaches love. 

As well as being the U19 Premier Division B&F winner, he’s also a Premiership coach, leading the Richmond U15 boys to the flag last weekend.
