MIMI HILL – OLD SCOTCH STAR DRAFTED FOR THE BLUES

Proud & passionate Old Scotch Stars player Mimi Hill was selected by Carlton with their first pick, pick 12, in the AFLW 2020 National draft. Mimi was too young to participate in the inaugural Old Scotch Stars 2018 VAFA season. However having witnessed first-hand the Stars amazing first season, Mimi was always going to find a way to pull on the Old Scotch jumper in the Old Scotch Stars second season.

Captaining the Methodist Ladies College (MLC) 1st 18, the Oakleigh Chargers NAB League team & Vic Metro representation made qualifying for the 2019 VAFA finals pretty tight. However Mimi qualified with enough games, seeing her join a star-studded team that went on to win the Division 1 Grand Final (selected best on ground), comprehensively defeating Old Brighton with an amazing team effort.

Mimi and the other Stars players have fully embraced the Old Scotch Football Club and MLC football partnership. The Club is so proud of all the Stars players and today especially Mimi. Go well Mimi in the AFLW, go Stars!
