The Old Scotch Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex van Ryn as our Men’s 3rd XVIII Coach for 2022. Alex has played 156 games for the club, over a 12 year period. He joined the club from Scotch College in 2010, spending his first year in the under 19s, before moving into the senior ranks in 2011. Alex has played at 1st, 2nd and 3rd XVIII level, 55 of his games in the 1st XVIII, including the Premier ‘B’ 2017 Grand Final. Alex was an integral part of the Premier ‘B’ 2nd XVIII premiership team in 2019. We wish Alex all the best in his new coaching role for the Cardinals.
