The OSFC Women’s ‘machine’ walked through last weekend’s premiership decider by 28 points and into Australian Rules football immortality. Since this team’s inception in 2018 it has taken all before it. As coach ‘Deanasty’ Anderson noted to the masses on Sunday evening, “This is all about the players, it’s their premiership success.”

Some special stats from this all conquering group – Co-Captain, Katie Hunter-Scott has now played in 5 senior premierships (2019, 2022 and 2024-2026). Katie’s fellow Co-Captain, Mia Cowan (2019 and 2024-2026) and Maxine Wells (2022 and 2024-2026) have both played in 4 senior premierships.

Aside from these three club greats, the following players appeared in all of the Senior ‘threepeat’ premierships (2024-2026): Ella Crump, Eloise Defina, Georgia Fraser-Smith, Jordy Mifsud, Anna Vrsecky and Maggie Wilson. Lexi McCulloch has also played in three Senior premierships (2022 and 2025-2026) as has Mia Caffry (2022 and 2024-25) and Em Tassiopoulos (2022 and 2024-2025). 

Others who played in two Senior flags during the ‘threepeat’ are: Sara Fortunato, Bella Gray, Grace Johnson, Miz Kendall, Sophie McIntosh, Emma Robins and Jade Wise. Other two time Senior premiership players are Sophie Anghie, Bek Comand, Lucy Morley, Alex Theodosi and Eve Uittenbosch who all saluted in 2019 and 2022. The latter three also played in the 2025 Reserves premiership as did Zoe Carter and Millie Fraser-Smith who played in Senior flags in 2022 and 2024. Ella Sciberras played in Senior flags in 2022 and 2024.

Single premiership players during the trifecta are: Ally Bild, Eleanor Butler, Charlotte Crough, Anais Everitt, Zara Fodor, Lily Hart, Charlee Johnson, Cassidy Mailer, Lucy Murphy, Sophie Pont, Issy Tuttle and Ibby Wotherspoon. Bella Griffin played in the 2026 flag and the 2025 Reserves premiership. Liv Arundel, Billie Holloway and Abbie Connor played in the Senior flag in 2022 and the Reserves flag of 2025.

Also, Ian Hill has overseen the program since it commenced and Dean Anderson and his coaching group (Dave McLeery, John Parker, Scott Montgomery and Andrew Lloyd) have been constants during the most recent period of success supported by figures like Rick ‘Cowboy’ Western, Scott Sutherland and Steve Jackson in vital off-field roles. 

The team’s overall playing record now reads – Played: 134, Won: 112, Lost: 20 and Drawn: 2 (winning 84% of games).

End-of-season finishing positions – 2018: Runners-Up (Premier B White), 2019: Premiers (Division 1), 2021: 1st* – COVID-19 interrupted, were undefeated when the season finished (Division 1), 2022: Premiers (Premier B), 2023: 3rd (Premier), 2024: Premiers (Premier), 2025: Premiers (Premier) and 2026: Premiers (Premier).
