Highlights of the night included Steve Blenheim (Communications Manager) receiving the Bryan Gibbs Trophy and Tom Edney (Treasurer and Sharks Captain) receiving the John Anderson Memorial Award for their respective efforts as club volunteers.
Congratulations to back to back Men’s Senior Best and Fairest Winner Charlie Cormack. Our Women’s Senior Best and Fairest winner captain Katie Hunter-Scott for her first time salute (and congratulations to her and Mia Cowan who finished 1 and 2 in our B&F and reversed the placings in the VAFA B&F).
Amongst others, well done to Will Taylor winner of the VAFA Men’s Thirds Division 2 goalkicking, the Bill Pearson award as the clubs leading goalkicker and Sharks Best and Fairest. Finn Nakervis for his equal 2nd place in the VAFA Men’s U19s Medal and Tom Farrer who was awarded three different trophies across the Men’s Seniors and 19s.
