READ ABOUT OUR GREAT CLUB HISTORY
Crackers Chronicles is a regular column in the Drumsheet on the history of Old Scotch Football Club written by Geoff “Crackers” McCracken. In 1966, Geoff joined our club from Scotch College and played 133 games with the club from 1966 – 1980, mainly in the Warriors and Reserves. He won the Warriors Best & Fairest in 1971, the year the Warriors won the inaugural Club XVIII FA premiership. Geoff served on the club committee as treasurer for eight years, as vice-president for three years and after he retired as secretary for four years. He is a Life Member of the club, club historian and co-author of the club’s centenary history book, Fighting for the Cardinal, Gold and Blue.
